Sapphire and Atlantians: War in Atlantis

War in Atlantis written by Rebecca Black

Forward

With her boyfriend Alex living the life of a wealthy art gallery owner in Portland and her best friend Jasper in Atlantis, this year has been trying and lonely.  That’s not to say Sapphire is alone.  For the first time in her life, she’s surrounded by a multitude of loved ones living safely in her parent’s central Oregon Compound.

Many of the new residents are half-human refugees from Atlantis and the human world; many possess unique gifts.  Never had Sapphire dreamed of being the leader and sole protector of such a large, diverse group of people.

In the hottest days of summer, the three reunite for her seventeen birthday and find that last year’s battles with Arion were a mere warmup for this year’s war in Atlantis.   He is returning and this time he is not alone.
